ALPSP training is devised and delivered by publishers for publishers and has a broad selection of topics to choose from. All courses are proposed and directed by the ALPSP Training Committee to help organizations develop skilled, informed and motivated staff who are better able to deal with the rapidly changing landscape of scholarly and professional publishing.
Virtual (Live)
Our virtual courses are delivered via Zoom.
Featuring:
- Expert publisher tutors with up-to-date knowledge and industry experience;
- Small group sizes for a hands-on, practical experience, with time for networking;
- Pre-course questionnaires to ensure all content is tailored to delegate needs;

On-Demand
Our on-demand courses are hosted within the Thinkific platform and are available anytime to complete at your own pace.

- Content created and curated by industry experts and tutors;
- Short, accessible courses which you can stop and start as you wish to;
- Interactive activities, quizzes, and takeaway reflection tasks;
- Six months of access to each course, to allow you to revist the content whenever you may need it;
- Completion certificates upon finishing every module of the course.
In-House
We can run the majority of our virtual training courses in-house and tailored to your needs. Be it over Zoom, or in-person at your offices (or the offices of a publisher you may be paired with).

Member discounts
Significant discounts and early bird rates for courses are available for all ALPSP members.
ALPSP is pleased to offer a discount on training fees to member organizations that are located primarily in low-income and lower-middle-income countries (LIC/LMIC). This is based on staff numbers and is in line with the discount on membership fees.
