Stay ahead in scholarly publishing

ALPSP training is devised and delivered by publishers for publishers and has a broad selection of topics to choose from. All courses are proposed and directed by the ALPSP Training Committee to help organizations develop skilled, informed and motivated staff who are better able to deal with the rapidly changing landscape of scholarly and professional publishing.

We can run the majority of our courses in-house and tailored to your needs. See our list of (2024) events.  Most courses are repeated (and updated) year on year, with new courses added where relevant to our virtual programme. 2025 courses are being added imminently.

“One of the upsides of the shift to remote work and training has been the ALPSP events offered virtually. While my organization was unable to send staff members to in person training courses out of the country, this year many team members have been able to attend ALPSP virtual training sessions. These have been topically appropriate and immediately applicable in the workplace.”

Member discounts

Significant discounts and early bird rates for courses are available for all ALPSP members.

ALPSP is pleased to offer a discount on training fees to member organizations that are located primarily in low-income and lower-middle-income countries (LIC/LMIC).  This is based on staff numbers and is in line with the discount on membership fees.
