Volunteering is a fantastic way to engage with your community - it enables you to meet new people, to share your knowledge and experience with others, and to help shape positive change. It can also be incredibly beneficial for wellbeing, and looks great on your CV.

As a non-profit organisation, our volunteers are a critical part of what we do – from helping out at in-person events, to serving on committees, there are multiple ways you can get involved.

*In order to enquire about In-Person Events volunteer opportunities in particular, please head over to the In-Person Events page.

Volunteering is open to all ALPSP members and is one of the many ways you can make the most of your membership. It offers opportunities to build new skills, expand your network, and contribute to the direction and impact of the scholarly publishing community.

Whether you’re looking to develop your career, give back to the community, or try something new, volunteering with ALPSP is a rewarding and flexible way to get involved.

Read on to hear from some of our volunteers, and to explore current opportunities.
