The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency. This policy outlines how actual or potential conflicts of interest are identified, declared, and managed across all ALPSP activities.
ALPSP identifies focus areas and priorities for activity through the work of its committees. Anyone working at a member organization is eligible to serve on a committee, subject to vacancies.
The committee brings together industry professionals to develop and progress the membership and marketing strategy for ALPSP. Chair: Emma Watkins Vice-Chair: Jo Wixon
The Policy Committee monitors policy, rights and copyright issues around the globe and helps formulate responses to consultations on behalf of ALPSP. Its members write regularly for the ALPSP Policy Bulletin. Chair: Leslie Lansman
The Education Committee is responsible for the programme of ALPSP events, including seminars, networking and free member webinars. Chair: Miranda Ashby-Wood
The committee is responsible for organizing ALPSP’s training programme. Our workshops help develop skilled, informed and motivated teams so they are better able to deal with the rapidly changing landscape of scholarly and professional publishing. Chair: Sophia Anderton
