We are sorry to report the death of Bernard Donovan.  He passed away peacefully on 26 July. Bernard was Secretary General of ALPSP between 1988 and 1998, during which time the organization was revolutionized by increasing its international range and introducing greater member activities. Following his retirement, he remained actively involved with ALPSP, serving as President until 2010.  Our thoughts go to his family, especially his widow, Eileen.
