Andrew Lake is Academic Range Manager for Waterstones, responsible for maintaining the best and most commercial range of academic titles. He has worked in bookselling for over 30 years, in a variety of roles, representing Waterstones on BIC Committees and liaising with publishers across the industry. In that time, he has seen the shape of academic bookselling change beyond recognition, and is looking forward to future developments, albeit with a degree of apprehension.
