Katherine Brown is Publishing Director at The Company of Biologists. Following a PhD and postdoctoral research in developmental biology, she began her publishing career as a Scientific Editor at The EMBO Journal. In 2011, she took up the position of Executive Editor for the journal Development at The Company of Biologists. She took on her current role in 2025, where she oversees operations and strategy across the Company’s portfolio of five journals.
