Shalini R. Urs

Dr. Shalini R. Urs is a pioneering information scientist, academic leader, and founder of the International School of Information Management (ISiM) and MYRA School of Business. A Fulbright Scholar and Open Access advocate, she has led globally funded research projects spanning IR, digital libraries, and digital public infrastructure, and has consulted for UNESCO. She championed India’s digital library movement through the Vidyanidhi project. As Associate Editor of Information Matters, she curates the “InfoFire” series. Her work bridges research, education, policy, and innovation.
