Dustin Smith is Co-founder and CEO of Hum and leads the development of Alchemist Review, an AI-assisted manuscript triage product for scholarly publishers. His work focuses on helping editors make better first moves at triage: identifying poor journal fit, unsupported claims, integrity concerns, and papers that need repair before reviewer time is spent. He brings a product-builder’s view to the pressure points inside editorial and peer review.
