Chris has worked in variety of technical and editorial roles for the likes of Elsevier, Springer Nature, Bloomsbury, BioMed Central, Qatar Foundation, and now Cactus Communications. A former COPE council member, he retains a strong interest in the ethics of publishing and especially how that is being reshaped by advances in AI. He also publishes the Scalene newsletter focusing on the interplay between AI, humans, and peer review workflows.
