Commercial Manager

Will Forster is the Commercial Manager and Sustainability Lead at Hobbs, a leading print and distribution partner to UK and international publishers. Over recent years, he has shaped the organisation’s sustainability strategy, driving significant achievements including the validation of Hobbs’ Net Zero targets by the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Under Will’s management, Hobbs has earned an EcoVadis Platinum rating for two consecutive years, recognising the company as part of the top 1% of more than 150,000 companies assessed globally.  The company also submits annual disclosures to CDP, achieving the highest rating available to SMEs in both 2024 and 2025.  Hobbs is additionally a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact, actively supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Beyond his work within the business, Will contributes to broader industry progress by participating in sustainability-focused working groups with the BPIF and BIC.  Through these roles, he supports the development of best practices and helps publishers with their own sustainability strategies.
