Sally Wilson

Sally Wilson is VP of Publishing at Emerald, leading the publishing strategy across journals, books, and teaching cases. With over 30 years in publishing, including the last six year in scholarly publishing at Emerald, she brings extensive knowledge in editor and author engagement, portfolio development, and people management. Sally is an advocate for equity, academic freedom, and mission-led research aligned to the UN SDGs. She represents Emerald as an SDG Publisher Compact Fellow, is a member of the Joint Commitment’s policy group, and plays an active role in Emerald’s participation and support of the #DefendResearch campaign.
