Become an ALPSP Member
ALPSP is the international trade association which supports and represents not-for-profit organizations that publish scholarly and professional content, and those that work with them. Membership is available for all employees within an organization, and we welcome applications from across the scholarly publishing community.
We offer a wide range of member benefits to help you to connect with peers, stay informed, develop your skills, and have your views represented.
Rates, discounts and further information
Membership rates are based on annual gross revenue before all deductions, other than sales tax that relates to scholarly and professional publishing. Subscriptions are for 12 months – we will forward a renewal notice three months prior to the end date.
ALPSP offers significant discounts for organisations based in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) to support equitable participation across our global community. Please contact us for eligibility details.

Guidelines for membership
ALPSP accepts members on the understanding that they adhere to legal and ethical good practice, and will not bring ALPSP into disrepute through their own activities or business practices. All applicants are required to accept the ALPSP Guidelines for membership.
Direct Debit payments
You can now spread your membership fee payments throughout the year using Direct Debit via GoCardless. Before each payment is taken, you will be notified.

To set this up, please complete a mandate request form, and our Finance team will send you a secure link.
The ALPSP Member Welcome pack is your one-stop-shop overview of your Member Benefits. An easy access PDF that can be downloaded and shared within your organisation.

How to apply for membership
To apply, complete the online application form. Once received, your application will be submitted to the ALPSP Board of Directors for approval, which takes approximately two weeks.
