London, UK - September 2026 - River Valley Technologies has launched Zintzo Research Integrity, a platform designed to help editorial teams triage manuscript risk faster, consistently and transparently.
At the centre of Zintzo Integrity is a Risk Triage Dashboard, which brings multiple research integrity signals together into a single colour-coded assessment. The dashboard allows editorial staff and research integrity teams to see at a glance whether a manuscript can proceed, requires closer review, or should be escalated.
Zintzo is designed to reduce pressure on editorial teams by distinguishing between stronger standalone indicators and lighter supporting signals, helping teams focus attention where it is most needed. Zintzo also provides publishers with trend reporting, to help identify areas of persistent risk across their portfolio.
The assessment does not replace editorial judgement. Editors can review the underlying evidence behind each alert and apply an editorial override where appropriate, ensuring decisions remain transparent, accountable and human-led.
Zintzo is configurable by publisher, journal and workflow, with risk assessment parameters tailored to each journal’s policies, subject area and risk profile.
Maryam Bazargan, CEO of River Valley Technologies, said: “Editorial teams need clear, evidence-based context that helps them triage quickly, not more disconnected alerts.
Some signals are minor on their own, but become meaningful alongside other indicators. Zintzo helps editorial teams see such patterns quickly, while allowing them to review the evidence and apply their own judgement.
Research integrity decisions must remain transparent and adaptable. That is why Zintzo includes evidence review, editorial override, audit trail and reporting, so publishers can adapt checks as their needs evolve.”
Zintzo brings together more than 40 River Valley-developed research integrity checks across manuscript content, references, metadata, authorship and AI-related risks, with optional integrations such as Imagetwin and Clear Skies available within the same dashboard. Checks can run automatically at key workflow stages or on demand, supporting integrity screening from submission through post publication.
