The workshop will cover the value of human indexes, how indexes make information accessible, and how technology can contribute to accessible indexes, including an update on AI and indexing. There will also be an interactive practical session for participants to try live indexing and time for questions and discussion, as well as time for publishers and indexers to meet and chat. The event will provide a useful opportunity for indexers and publishers to learn from each other so that together we can create better indexes and make non-fiction books more valuable and saleable.
