ALPSP is delighted to announce that its journal ‘Learned Publishing’ will transition to Gold OA from 2025. This was decided following the latest ALPSP Board meeting in April 2024. Furthermore, the Board has agreed to cover the APC for any author who is an ALPSP member. Our funding model enables ALPSP to transition to OA whilst remaining sustainable. This advancement would not be possible without the support of our publishing partner, Wiley.
Journal Editor-in-Chief Laura Dormer commented, “I’m excited to be involved in this next step of Learned Publishing’s development, enabling journal content to reach an even broader audience and highlighting the commitment of ALPSP to advancing scholarly communication. I am particularly pleased to be able to support ALPSP members publishing their work in the journal – sharing their experience, insights and learning with our community – thanks to the support of the ALPSP Board and our partners at Wiley.”
ALPSP members can login to access the journal.
