Bone & Joint, publisher of the renowned The Bone & Joint Journal, has launched OrthoPublish™, an AI-powered, orthopaedics-specific manuscript formatting platform designed to save authors time and streamline the submission process.

OrthoPublish™ is set to revolutionize manuscript preparation for orthopaedic researchers. It’s unique Journal Finder helps users explore a wide range of journals and articles to determine the best fit for their manuscript. The intuitive formatting tool guides users through a series of simple steps, producing a submission-ready file tailored to their chosen journal. The platform ensures compliance with journal-specific formatting and author instructions. OrthoPublish™ automatically bolds titles and abstract headings, standardizes journal title abbreviations, verifies word count limits, and ensures tables and figures are captioned, cited, and meet journal requirements. The Journal Finder also consolidates essential information—such as scope, impact factor, APC charges, and editorial board details—making it easier for authors to choose where to submit.

Developed by Molecular Connections (MC), a leader in digital transformation and AI-based solutions for scholarly publishing, OrthoPublish™ marks a significant advancement in orthopaedic manuscript preparation. This partnership builds on MC’s long-standing collaboration with Bone & Joint to support scientific research and enhance the quality of publications in the orthopaedics field.

"We are thrilled to introduce OrthoPublish™ as a valuable resource for the Orthopaedic community," said Emma Vodden, Director of Publishing at Bone & Joint. “In partnership with Molecular Connections we have developed a powerful AI-driven manuscript formatting tool that is going to help Authors navigate the complex publishing world and save them so much time.”

“With over two decades of experience in Information Science, we are now gearing up for a new chapter in the publishing domain, one that is powered by AI. AI-powered proprietary models have vastly helped our customers achieve digital transformation in the publishing domain, OrthoPublish™ is a good example of the same,” said Mr. Jignesh Bhate, CEO of Molecular Connections.

OrthoPublish™ is live now at www.orthopublish.org.uk.
