ALPSP Rising Star Award 2026: Winners Announced

The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers, is pleased to announce the winners of the ALPSP Rising Star Award 2026:
- Arunima Aditya, Customer Education Manager, Wiley
- Emma Ferguson, Senior Commissioning Editor, Journals, Emerald Publishing
- Jacob Weller, Peer Review Operations Specialist, PLOS
Sponsored by Publishers’ Licensing Services, the Rising Star Award celebrates promising early career professionals working in scholarly publishing. Open exclusively to ALPSP Members, the award invites nominators to explain, in up to 500 words, why their nominee deserves recognition.
All three winners have been offered a complimentary in-person place at the ALPSP Conference, plus an allowance towards travel and accommodation. After the conference, they will be invited to provide a short report (500-1000 words) about their experience at the conference to be published on the ALPSP blog or website.

The ALPSP Annual Conference and Awards is being held at The Manchester Deansgate Hotel, UK from the 9-11 September 2026. Winners will receive their awards during the conference dinner on Thursday 10 September.
