ACCUCOMS and Policy Press are pleased to announce the inclusion of journals from Policy Press in Aggregagent™ and the ALPSP Collections. Aggregagent currently holds more than 350 journals, that combine to publish more than 15,000 articles annually.

Policy Press is a global ambassador for the University of Bristol and now sits within the newly formed Bristol University Press. Currently publishing nine journals in a range of social science disciplines, Policy Press is the second university press to join Aggregagent, after Penn State University Press. The journals will strengthen the collections in Aggregagent in multiple fields and will be included in the ALPSP Collections.

Julia Mortimer, Journals Director at Bristol University Press/Policy Press, said “I am delighted that Policy Press journals will be part of the Aggregagent collections, including those offered from ALPSP members. Partnering with ACCUCOMS puts us in a strong position to be able to reach the wider global audience our content deserves. This comes at a particularly exciting time as we have just launched Bristol University Press and will be expanding the journals lists from Policy Press and Bristol University Press in the coming years.”

ACCUCOMS’ Commercial Director Simon Boisseau said “Policy Press are investing in an expanded journals program, and we are delighted to help their global sales effort. We hope to give their new journals a boost in not only sales, but readership, citations and submissions. Their journals will also be included in the new ALPSP Collection so will receive additional exposure alongside other ALPSP members.”

As of May 2017, ALPSP and ACCUCOMS announced a partnership to reinstate sales services as a benefit of an ALPSP membership. ALPSP members can opt to have their journals included in a series of ALPSP Collections available for purchase by libraries, in addition to the broad and narrow subject classifications of Aggregagent. With content available from multiple publishers, the ALPSP Collections are growing fast.
