ALPSP has submitted a response to the Implementation of the Collective Rights Management Directive in the digital single market consultation from the Intellectual Property Office.

ALPSP co-owns the Publishers Licensing Society (PLS) with the Publishers Association (PA) and the Professional Publishers Association (PPA). In turn PLS co-owns the Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) with the Authors Licensing and Collecting Society (ALCS). We are supportive of the implementation of the CRM Directive in the UK, the requirements of which both PLS and CLA, and indeed ALCS, have been working to fulfil for some time.
