Ove Kähler

Ove Kähler is the Managing Director of Mohr Siebeck, a family‑owned German publishing house founded in 1801 and specializing in the humanities. The company publishes around 400 books each year plus 20 journals, with a strong focus on law, theology, and related fields.

Before joining Mohr Siebeck in 2022, Ove spent nearly two decades in academic publishing, holding roles at SpringerNature, Elsevier—where he worked with Scopus—and at Brill. He holds a Master’s degree in Eastern European History and an MBA.
