Sarah Arens Arens

Sarah Arens is a Lecturer in French at the University of Liverpool, where she has worked since 2021, previous posts at the Universities of St Andrews, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bristol, and Yale. Her research spans the cultural and environmental histories of French and Belgian colonialism and their aftermath. She is also a founding co-editor of the Liverpool University Press series Liverpool Studies in Environmental History.
