Sharon Mattern Büttiker is VP of Publisher Relations and Content Strategy at Research Solutions, Inc., where she drives strategy for the company's SaaS platform and maintains key publisher partnerships. With over 30 years of experience spanning scientific publishing, content management, and strategic business development, Sharon has forged deep roots and expertise in the STM ecosystem. Previously, she spent 18 years at S. Karger AG in Basel, pioneering data exchange programs and technology standards. Originally from Chicago, Sharon holds a BSBA in Marketing from Creighton University. An active member of ALPSP and SSP, she served as an SSP committee co-chair, guest author on The Scholarly Kitchen, and panellist at industry conferences including SSP, the Charleston conference, the PLS, and UKSG. She resides in Switzerland.
