Overview
Content Discovery is constantly evolving, for example with developments in open access (e.g. how best to ensure discovery of OA content?), artificial intelligence (e.g. what are the applications of AI to discovery of content?), and metadata standards (e.g. what are the emerging metadata standards that promote good content discovery and what are the gaps?).
The group brings together publishing professionals to share experiences and best practices for optimising discoverability of scholarly content, and to discuss current and emerging trends and needs in the discovery space.
As well as online meetings, group meet-ups at conferences are also planned – to promote networking of people working in similar roles and to build a community.
