ALPSP Board Elections 2026
As per our governance, our Board of Directors serve a term of 3 years, after which the roles will be reopened for nominations. This year we are inviting nominations for the following roles:
- Education Committee Chair
- Non-Executive Director
- Membership & Marketing Committee Chair
The current post holders are eligible to stand again if they wish, but we also welcome new applicants who are interested in serving. Regardless, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Miranda Ashby-Wood, Fabienne Michaud and Emma Watkins for their valued contribution and leadership during their respective terms.
Serving on the Board is an opportunity to help shape ALPSP’s direction and contribute to the future of learned and scholarly publishing. We are seeking engaged, thoughtful and committed individuals who are keen to play an active role in supporting ALPSP’s strategic development.
Who can stand?
- Any employee of an ALPSP Member organisation is eligible to apply.
- Each nominee must be seconded by a representative from a different ALPSP Member organisation.
Before applying
We encourage prospective candidates to review the relevant role descriptions and the ALPSP Rules for full details. Please note that candidates may stand for one role at a time.
