May joined the RSC 14 years ago and has spent several years managing editorial boards, as both Managing and Executive Editor, and is currently responsible for the flagship journal, Chemical Science. She works across smaller, community-led journals and broader, multidisciplinary titles to develop and implement journal strategies with varied editorial boards.
