Monica is Director of Open Policy Development at Cambridge University Press. Her work centres on advancing Open Access and the open knowledge movement, strengthening the standards and metrics that underpin a healthier scholarly communication ecosystem, and shaping a sustainable future for balancing copyright protections with fair use/ fair dealing in academic research. She volunteers her time to board and trustee positions at Wikimedia UK, the National Information Standards Organization, and COUNTER Metrics.
