Fiona Hutton

Fiona Hutton is Head of Publishing at eLife and leads the four publishing departments. eLife has recently moved to a new model of publishing which prioritises preprints and their review leading to a more transparent, faster, and fairer way to publish research. Before eLife, Fiona held roles at CUPA, the Wiley Open Access Initiative, WIREs and Trends journals. As a previous lab scientist, her interests lie in innovative publishing initiatives that evolve how research is published.
