Stephanie Veldman

Stephanie Veldman is Head of Open Research at Brill, where she is responsible for the development of business models and digital products to drive a sustainable and equitable transition to Open Research in the Humanities and Social Sciences. She combines her experience with commercial as well as institutional publishing to identify solutions suited to the unique and diverse HSS landscape. In 2024, Brill’s Open Access program consists of nearly 2000 Open Access book titles, a number of Transformative Agreements with institutions and consortia worldwide, as well as a multitude of Diamond Open Access partnerships with grant projects, institutions and societies.
