Sarah Theissen

Sarah is a publishing professional with almost 10 years of experience in the industry and a passion for Open Access. She has a PhD in Endocrine Oncology, research experience in molecular and cellular biology, with a specific focus on breast cancer, and worked for over a decade in various research labs across Germany, Ireland and the USA. Upon leaving academia, Sarah gained publishing experience in editorial, operational, and communications roles at BioMedCentral, F1000 and Hindawi, before joining Wiley, where she currently holds the role of Director, Peer Review Services, leading a hybrid team of Editors.
