Matt Hervey

Matt Hervey is an expert on the legal and regulatory issues raised by AI. He is Head of Legal and Policy at Human Native, a company at the intersection of the legal and policy debates on the use of copyright works for training AI. Matt is General Editor of The Law of Artificial Intelligence (Sweet & Maxwell) and a founder–member of the International Law Association for Artificial Intelligence. He chairs the AI subcommittee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and is a Senior Consultant to the World Intellectual Property Organization on AI and IP.
