
Meurig Gallagher
Meurig is trained as an Applied Mathematician, having completed his Master’s degree in the University of Nottingham, before a PhD at the University of Birmingham. Since then, he has transferred these skills to the field of reproduction as an Assistant Professor jointly across the University of Birmingham’s Schools of Medicine, Mathematics and Computer Science. Meurig’s work integrates mathematical modelling and software with experimental and qualitative methods to create new diagnostics, treatments and understanding for male infertility with his comprehensive interdisciplinary approach. Meurig’s experience in AI comes in analysing medical and modelling data for healthcare applications.
