Allison Hosier

Allison Hosier is the Head of Information Literacy at the University at Albany and co-editor of Communications in Information Literacy. She is the author of Using Context in Information Literacy Instruction (American Library Association, 2022). In addition to her work in information literacy, Allison has become interested in the role of generative AI in teaching and learning. She has been providing professional development on this topic to librarians, faculty, and instructional designers since 2023.
