Wenyi Zhou

Wenyi Zhou is Director of Journal Strategic Partnerships at Elsevier. She oversees Elsevier’s society journal publishing programme with Chinese institutions as well as facilitating a higher level of customised services for international societies and their members. Wenyi has served at multiple key roles in publishing, including journals, databases, marketing, strategy, and commercial, with a focus on open access, international impact, and economic viability. She first joined Elsevier in 2011 and has since worked at multiple office locations including Amsterdam, Beijing, and Shanghai. She also spent three years at American Chemical Society as China marketing head before returning to Elsevier in early 2021.
