Richard Gallagher is President and Editor-in-Chief of Annual Reviews, a nonprofit publisher dedicated to synthesizing and integrating knowledge to advance science and benefit society. Since joining in 2015, he has overseen the launch of new review journals, bringing the portfolio to 51 titles, and helped establish the Subscribe to Open model for open access. He also founded Knowable Magazine, and led the acquisitions of the Charleston Conference, Knowledge Unlatched, and Underline Science, expanding the organization's global reach and strengthening its ability to connect research with society to address major challenges.
