Nicola Wilson is Professor in Book and Publishing Cultures at the University of Reading. Her first (academic) book is Home in British Working-Class Fiction (2015) and her second (trade) book is Recommended! The influencers who changed how we read (2025). She is lead editor of The Edinburgh Companion to Women in Publishing, 1900-2020 (EUP, 2024) and co-founder and co-director of the Modernist Archives Publishing Project.
