Jo Wixon

After moving from academia to research publishing 20+ years ago, Jo has developed journals, expanded portfolios, built society partnerships, and led global portfolio strategy. Her team identifies opportunities and risks in market trends, policy and business model developments to drive evidence-based strategy. Jo is a HESI SDG Publishers Compact Fellow and works on sustainability with STM, ALPSP and EASE. She is an ALPSP Director, Vice-Chair of the Membership & Marketing Committee, and Co-Chairs their SDGs & Publishing SIG.
