Kate Petherbridge

Speaker, Parallel Session 4b

As Press Manager for White Rose University Press, Kate has led the growth and development of WRUP as one of the first of the new wave of OA university presses. As the inaugural Chair of the Open Institutional Publishing Association (OIPA), she worked with colleagues to build a supportive community across the open publishing landscape.

In her wider role as White Rose Libraries Executive Manager, Kate drives collaboration between the university libraries of Leeds, Sheffield and York. Before this, she worked at the Bodleian Library for 15+ years, developing a strong understanding of supporting research and academic needs using a service-led approach.
