John Sherer
John Sherer has been the director of the University of North Carolina Press since 2012. Under his leadership the Press has published two New York Times bestsellers, two Pulitzer Prize finalists, and has been the recipient of several major foundation grants including two grants of nearly $1 million each from the Mellon Foundation to support new models for publishing high quality monographs.
He is also the President of Longleaf Services, a subsidiary of UNC Press that provides scaled publishing tools for university presses.
