Alison Shaw is the founder and CEO of Bristol University Press (BUP) and previously of Policy Press (PP) now an imprint within BUP.  BUP and PP publish pioneering scholarship and commentary that address society’s greatest challenges. She believes strongly in publishing evidence-informed content that can contribute to positive social, environmental, and cultural change. Alison is a Fellow of the Academy for Social Sciences, conferred in recognition of her contribution to social science.
