Blessing Mawire

Blessing Mawire is an accomplished International Development Consultant at Integra Professional Solutions, specializing in knowledge management, research capacity development, library development, and heritage preservation. Blessing is the Convenor for IFLA's Evidence for Global and Disaster Management special interest group. She leads the Research4Life Country Connectors in fifteen countries. Blessing co-created the Knowledge Management Digital Transformation Framework for all member states for the Pan American Health Organisation. She serves as the Partnerships Coordinator for CLIR’s Hidden Collections Africa programme and is a board member of Africa Commons. She previously held the role of GRAP Director at the National Library of South Africa, where she conducted critical analyses of heritage assets and also successfully implemented a Graduate Development Programme creating opportunities for LIS youth. Blessing is a past Deputy Director at ITOCA. She has managed knowledge development, research, cultural and heritage, and innovation programs across Sub-Saharan Africa, South West Asia, and Southern America. Blessing holds an MA from the University of Pretoria.
