Stephanie Williams is the Director of Wayne State University Press. She has previously held marketing management positions at Pelican Publishing Company, the University Press of Florida, the University of Missouri Press, and the University Press of Kentucky. Stephanie has served on the advisory board of Amherst College Press (an OA press), the Midwest Publishers Association, and helped form the Unbound Book Festival. She served on the formative advisory board of Amherst College Press and is president-elect of the Association of University Presses (2025-2026).
Stephanie lives in Ferndale, Michigan with her schnoodle Sister Rosetta.
