Aashi Chaturvedi

Senior Program Officer for Ethics & Integrity

Aashi Chaturvedi, Ph.D., is a Senior Program Officer for Ethics & Integrity at ASM. She works with editors across ASM's journals on publication ethics and editorial policy development, with particular interests in image integrity, paper mills, and the responsible use of AI in scholarly publishing. She collaborates across publishing teams to develop workflows that help journals address integrity challenges in a practical and consistent way. Before joining ASM, she completed her Ph.D. in Oncological Sciences at the University of Utah and postdoctoral research at the University of Minnesota. She received the 2024 ISMTE Early Career Award and is currently serving as the Chair of the ISMTE Ethics Committee.

Outside of work, Aashi enjoys painting, reading and writing poetry, traveling, and unwinding with a good story, in whatever form it takes.
