Overview

Many organizations are already looking at addressing and exploring issues in publication ethics and research integrity, aiming to provide valuable information, guidance, and drive collaborative industry action. Publishers and scholarly societies increasingly employ research integrity and publishing ethics specialists, but these teams are often new, small, and sit outside traditional publishing team 'silos'. They often have unusual reporting lines and progression pathways, there are generally very few people within one organization in similar roles to share experiences with and learn from, and research integrity professionals are often responsible for managing high-stakes and sensitive issues.

We envisage this group as a forum for research integrity professionals to come together to help navigate this landscape from a personal and professional development perspective.
