Michelle Bandeira joins 67 Bricks as publishing consultant

67 Bricks are delighted to announce that Michelle Bandeira has joined its growing team as a publishing consultant.

Michelle will take an active role helping some of the world’s leading publishers such as Emerald Publishing in building data-driven products and systems fit for the digital era.  She joins the Oxford-based software development consultancy with a wealth of experience on the client side, having spent almost eight years at Elsevier as a transformation manager, product manager and supplier manager, and before that as production director for Scholastic Education.

Michelle said: “I’m really excited to be joining 67 Bricks’ talented developers and market experts at a time when publishers are focussing on improving their digital presence. I'm looking forward to working closely with the clients to understand their requirements, develop digital solutions and deliver successful outcomes.”

Former colleague Helen Freeman, Director Publishing Operations and Home Publishing at Oxford University Press said:  “Michelle is a talented project manager; commercially-minded and exceptionally organised. I can't think of any project that wouldn't benefit from her calm and methodical approach, and her determination to deliver successful projects to deadline.”

Fast building a reputation for its partner approach and pioneering products and systems, earlier this year 67 Bricks was named as one of the key STM platform providers in the Outsell report STM Platform Providers, April 2020. Recent clients include De Gruyter, Emerald Publishing and Wiley.  Head of client services David Leeming said:  “We are delighted to have Michelle join us at 67 Bricks.  Change, disruption and innovation are constants in publishing right now, and digitally-minded product experts like Michelle bring vital experience.”
