Miranda has over a decade of experience working in scholarly publishing, and is currently Head of Publishing (Development) at the British Institute of Radiology (BIR). She is responsible for the strategic development of the BIR journal portfolio and leads the publishing department. Miranda’s role has a key focus on the commissioning and development of article content within the BIR journal portfolio, working with members of the community to deliver relevant and high-quality content. Prior to the BIR, Miranda held editorial positions at BioMed Central. Miranda is Chair of the ALPSP Education Committee, an ALPSP Virtual Training Tutor, and a Director on the ALPSP Board. In 2024, Miranda was a Mentor in the 2024 ALPSP Mentorship scheme.
