Sylvia Hunter is the Editorial Growth Coordinator at Canadian Science Publishing, where she organizes the teams, tasks, and processes that get new journals from approved idea to first publication. Her 30-year career in scholarly communications has also included coordinating peer review, copyediting and proofreading, people and project management, content and product marketing, social media, freelance work, website management, XML workflows and ebook QA, community management, digital accessibility, and learning new things at least once a week. Sylvia’s previous employers include University of Toronto Press, Inera, Atypon, and Wiley Partner Solutions; she has been a panellist at meetings of AUPresses, SSP, and CSE and at the Researcher to Reader and ebookcraft conferences.
