Allison worked for BMJ from 2010-2023, where she led the successful growth and development of BMJ's publishing business. She was reelected to the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) Board of Directors to serve Non Executive Director from January 2020. Prior to BMJ, Allison held publishing and leadership positions at Nature Publishing Group and in learned societies. She has nine years of medical research experience, and a passion for science communication.
