Philippa Grand's career in academic publishing has spanned both commercial and university press publishers. Specialising in the social sciences, in recent years she has moved into open institutional publishing with roles at University of Westminster Press and now as Head of Publishing at LSE Press.  She is co-deputy chair of the Open Institutional Publishing Association.
