ALPSP works to represent the views of the scholarly publishing community, and not-for-profit publishers in particular, through a range of policy work. We monitor and assess the impact of public consultations and changes to law worldwide to assist our members in adapting to legislative changes and the wider political environment. Work in this area includes:

• Summary briefings on key public consultations
• Outlines of the latest policy developments and how they may affect members
• Representation of the issues that not-for-profit publishers face to politicians and other stakeholder groups
• Survey of members to gain input on areas of interest
• Responses to public consultations on behalf of members.
